Please adhere to the following guidelines in cases of emergencies:
HEALTH EMERGENCIES
In cases of health emergencies, the person should be immediately escorted to the Fellowship Hall of the church.
The Nurse’s Guild is responsible for assessing the situation and providing the appropriate health care. If the situation is beyond the expertise of the Nurse’s Guild, it is the responsibility of a member of the Nurse’s Guild to contact emergency services and remain with the patient until emergency services arrives.
Furthermore, it is the responsibility of the Nurse’s Guild to report all information to emergency services. Once emergency services has completed their assessment and takes the patient for hospitalization services, the Nurse’s Guild is responsible for providing a full and detailed report of the patient’s health concern to the Administrative Offices.
EVACUATION PROCEDURES
In cases of natural disasters, it is the desire of the Pastor and Officers of the church that all members follow the directives of the city government.
If ordered to evacuate, it is the responsibility of the Ministers, Officers and Staff to ensure the safety of the church. An emergency CLC meeting will be held to discuss any pertinent information prior to the ordered evacuation date.
Once evacuated and settled, an emergency contact phone tree will be activated and all members will be contacted to ensure their safety and determine their whereabouts. Members are asked to check the church’s website regularly for updates.
